Washington, DC-- Preventing Colorectal Cancer.Org partnered with the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Colorectal Cancer Coalition (C3) to present an issue briefing in the Cannon House Office Building on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Dr. Morris, the PCC.org Board Chair, moderated the event which hosted Representative Kathy Dahlkemper (D-PA) and experts in gastroenterology, enterology, health legislation, and the CDC Comprehensive Cancer Control Branch acting chief, Dr. Laura Seef. 

 

With recent reports addressing both the benefits and abuse of propofol, including singer Michael Jackson’s death, the Coalition Board recommends that national standards be established and followed to protect patients and optimize clinical outcomes.

The National Coalition for Quality Colorectal Cancer Screening and Care in conjunction with the 3-C Call on Congress will host a briefing on March 24 in the Congressional Visitor Center.
