The Champion Awards Program is designed to recognize individuals, groups and companies that provide either exceptionally high standards of care or who most effectively advocate for the prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer.

A new study shows that rates of colon and rectal cancers have climbed in younger adults over the last decade.

Colonoscopy led to significant reductions in colorectal cancers located in both the distal colon and proximal colon, based on a large analysis of Medicare data from 1998-2002.
